color saturation

someday i want my living room painted 'hydrangea blue', which, as you can see, would be about 23 blues. and i want the ceiling done too, so that i will feel that i am inside one of these blooms. all these flowerheads are off the same bush! at least i think it's one; the clump is decades old so it is hard to tell.
this, THIS is summer.

meet urnnie

urnnie's first snow (with us). who knows, he may
have gone through a hundred or so already.

 urnnie has made numerous Facebook appearances so he is almost famous!  he resides in the middle of our 'narnia' garden, which i am trying to keep empty, much to the consternation of my husband & his beer resting tree stumps (next to the horseshoe arena.)

urnnie & the spirit

a bit of warmth for the eye

and new to the family is urnella; she's my 'indoor' urn like one has an 'indoor' cat.
 she came from  the local thrift store for $2.99 with a $70. tag on the bottom!
 at first i thought i would re-finish her in a faux rust or verdigris but the 'ironstone' look is growing on me.

the poet & the painter

once upon a time
there was a poet
who fell in love.
he wrote a book of love poems

to his lady.
this was her response;

"He Loves Me"
